So in this scene, Monica says that the camera adds 10 pounds to the weight. Do they really? Well, when I googled the same, I had loads of answers which says that It does. The camera does add pounds(not ten pounds, exactly! ) but it does. According to a famous photographer, when he tried taking a picture of a model with different lenses, he had different outputs. The different lenses did add and reduce the weight to the model's face. Here is the GIF added to show how the different lenses gave different output. It is because of the change in the distance of the object and the camera lens which some call as focal length.
