Today's post- it is a scene that inspired me in a way! :)
"A helping heart makes more heads turn!"
Today after a long walk in the park, I decided to take a break.
I saw a feeble, starving old man who was trying to get up from the pathway.
He was requesting people who were passing by to help him get up and also to give him something to eat.
Since it was a weekend, there were many people walking with their "bigger-than-the-ears" headphones.
No one really cared to help or was ready to give away a penny or two to the suffering old man.
They were crossing him as if he did not exist.
I was deeply saddened by the scene,
Before I could get up from my bench which was on the other end and give something to the old man,
there came a 6-year-old and his mother who was a railway sweeper.
This kid tried to lift the old man saying "ezhundhiri thaatha" with a smile on his cute little face.
His mother helped the old man and took him to the nearby "amma unavagam".
The old man thanked the kid and the mother. "En appa madiri neenga nandri lam sollaadheenga," she said.
I was amazed by the entire scene.
There was a time when I used to think "okay kaasu ille adhan they didn't donate" but moments like this once again proves it all takes just a good heart to help!
I now wonder how the world would be if everyone come forward to help each other! :)
Thank you for the read! :)
Hope it turns good one day
