Tulsi-The Queen of the Medicinal Plants 





Our ancestors are brilliant that they always gave a religious touch to every good thing in this world. Growing tulsi plants in the house is not an exception. I guess they did that because they believed that their children will follow the good deeds like say, planting tulsi if they come under the tag of God. 

More than being a "religious" plant, Tulsi is one of the most important medicinal plants. 
Here are the few benefits of this plant.

    • They are detoxifying, cleansing and purifying agent in and out.
    • They can be used to cure pimples and other facial issues.
    • Rubbing them on your face gives you a younger look as they clean up the dust and other particles on your skin.

How to grow? 

Keep in mind that it should be planted before the monsoon season. Tulsi needs more sunlight and moist soil which is rich in elements. For better growth, grow the plant inside the house till it is 5 to 6 inch tall then transfer it to outside. Planting them few centimeters inside the soil is enough for them to grow. 

How to consume?

One more great quality of them is that they can be consumed in any of their forms.
